I mean, I don’t even know where to begin with this. As of late, I’m hearing a lot of “they’re not pants,” and general ass-coverage issues on the legging front. I thought we were past this, people. Lemme tell you what, leggings are fair game. Why? #becauseisaidso
Yeah, I’m trotting out the old adage a little early. Here’s the thing. New moms, like myself, can’t exactly squeeze themselves into their old clothes right away. Therefore, it’s either leggings or maternity pants for the foreseeable future. If you’ve never worn maternity pants then let me enlighten you: They’re garbage. They’re made to fit during pregnancy (and sometimes don’t even do that), but they are definitely poorly fitting on a new mom who’s shrunk in size.
In short, judge not lest ye be judged. And for the record…. I have always supported leggings as pants, even before they were a necessity for me. So there.
