Here’s a big trend this spring: STRIPES. Big, beautiful, bold stripes. I’m a big fan of stripes! Let’s strip down the art of wearing the stripe.
I know those vertically striped pants are terrifying, but trust me: The vertical stripe is. your. friend. My “tookus” is not the smallest thing on the earth, so I know what makes it appear smaller, larger, lumpy, dumpy, etc… and vertical stripes elongate and flatter!!!! If you’re a little on the fence, a less bold stripe (like the white pants) is a good way to dip your toe in the pool before taking the plunge. Plenty of options to choose from!
If you’re petite and don’t have to worry about what will elongate and flatter your behind, feast your eyes on these SUPER CUTE Stella McCartney striped shorts. I die. These colors are perfect for spring and summer too. Swap the the black/white combo for late summer/fall!
This Balmain tuxedo blazer. I mean… It’s so perfect. I can’t even- No seriously. I literally can. not. $2500 is quite a bit of money, which is why I included the Bardot blazer for a cool $2350 LESS than the first one. These are really smart buys, I think, because they can be used YEAR ROUND! Who doesn’t love a trend that can carry over through more than one season?!? (Lemme tell you this: if I spent $2500 on a jacket, it better carry over for the rest of my life, that’s what I know.)
The Ted Baker dress, striped dress, and striped skirt are good with any figure. And the colors are so fun! They just scream “It’s spring and I’m such a fun, flirty girl. Let’s go have margaritas on a rooftop bar, ok?” And in these super cute looks, who wouldn’t say “YES” to that. Seriously.
Go earn your stripes, kid.
